Established in 1994, La Palma Holland has built up a clientele of friends across the world. We use the word 'friends', because we know each client personally. Our product line includes lactose, lactulose, whey protein concentrate (WPC), whey permeate and vitamins. These products are used by the pharmaceutical industry, as well as by manufacturers of baby food, geriatric food and baked goods.

Service and support
Service is our be-all and end-all. We travel the world to meet each of our clients personally. We can learn more by spending one afternoon with you than from a year's worth of emails. How is the market organized in your area? Do you have specific wishes with regard to packaging, transport and delivery? How can we keep your freight costs down?

An example of how such visits can benefit both parties is a case in which we witnessed a client receiving his first shipment from La Palma . When we saw with our own eyes how much trouble he had unloading the shipment, we solved the problem by having special pallets made.

When our big bags proved to be too large for another customer, we had special 750-kg bags made for her. When yet another client wanted to pay in Malaysian ringgits, we conferred with our bank and quickly found a way to accommodate him.

Technical support
We regularly visit our suppliers and their factories, where we are supported and informed of the latest developments by technical staff. One example might be an improved crystallization process for making lactulose.
